Who We Are

Building a sustainable energy future — one asset at a time.

Founded on more than 25 years of hands-on power industry experience, IIS partners with utilities, power producers, industrial operators, and government agencies.

Our Mission

Extend infrastructure life. Reduce environmental impact. Enable reliable energy for communities worldwide.

About Industrial Innovations & Solutions (IIS)

Repair instead of replace. Strengthen instead of shut down.

Industrial Innovations & Solutions (IIS) was founded by M. John Constable, a mechanical engineer and MBA graduate with over 25 years in the power and utility sector, including senior engineering and leadership roles at Con Edison. John is widely recognized for pioneering the use of composite materials as secondary pressure boundaries for high-pressure fluid-filled dielectric feeders—technology that fundamentally changed how utilities approach aging infrastructure.

Our composite repair methodologies, power-plant engineering expertise, and renewable energy capabilities allow facilities to remain in service while we reinforce piping, refurbish equipment, and integrate modern energy solutions. The result is reduced downtime, improved safety, extended asset life, and measurable sustainability gains.

IIS actively supports projects across North America, with expanding work in the Caribbean, Latin America, and West Africa—delivering proven solutions adaptable to both mature and emerging energy markets.

Leadership

Mechanical engineer. MBA. Power & utility infrastructure specialist.

John built his career at Con Edison, where he pioneered composite repair systems for high-pressure fluid-filled electric feeders and gas transmission infrastructure, and led major power-generation engineering and construction initiatives.

His experience spans collaboration with Fortune 500 utilities, global equipment manufacturers, and EPC firms on mission-critical transmission, generation, and industrial assets. Today, he leads IIS with a focus on engineering discipline, safety, and solutions that work in the field—not just on paper.

His work included developing composite refurbishment systems, the associated engineering standards, QA/QC frameworks, nondestructive examination methodologies, and field deployment programs now used across thousands of feet of high-pressure transmission piping.
